Los Angeles experienced widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a thrilling seven-game World Series championship. Supporters across the globe united with Angelenos in jubilation, marking the first time in 25 years that a team has secured consecutive championships.
Celebration Parade Draws Massive Turnout
Los Angeles area celebrations featured a downtown parade on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos show thousands of Los Angeles residents flooding city center avenues, many displaying homemade signs and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, raising the championship trophy proudly.
“I’m already thinking about the third time we’re going to do this,” the star player remarked through an translator.
