Passionate followers of the actress are calling for that a person who breached a fence and touched the performer during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A viral clip shows the person identified as Johnson Wen pushing past camera operators and charging at Grande while the performers walked down a event pathway surrounded by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned star away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by security officers.

Mr Wen posted on Instagram recently that he was "released after being taken in", though court documents showed that he was scheduled to be present on Friday morning. It is uncertain if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who describes himself as a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile includes clips of him interrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney performance in earlier this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the city last December.

"There needs to be action enforced against him as this is clearly a punishable act," stated an Instagram follower, in a response to a video Mr Wen posted of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" another Instagram user questioned.

Followers Show Disapproval Over the Star's Past Trauma

Numerous fans criticized Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had spoken of suffering from PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the conclusion of her 2017 show in Manchester, claiming the lives of 22 people and harming many.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" commented one more comment on Instagram.

Several fans also questioned security officers at the Thursday event for not being sufficiently alert; while others demanded digital services to block Mr Wen's content.

Reaction and Event Details

In videos circulating online, Grande seemed startled when she was grabbed by the individual. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed comforting her while Mr Wen was removed by guards.

Grande has remained silent on the incident, and the rest of the event continued without further issues.

Numerous of fans had congregated in a mass of colorful attire at the Wicked: For Good Asia-Pacific debut in a Singapore mall, including several who had stood in line for as long as many hours before it started.

The motion picture, to be launched on the 21st of November, is the sequel of a dual adaptation of the well-known stage production Wicked, which focuses on the unlikely relationship between two very different sorceresses.

The production itself is a adaptation of the 1900 book The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.

Grande, who plays the benevolent sorceress Glinda, was decked out in a light pink glittering gown at the gathering while Erivo, who plays the villainous character, wore a sleek black dress embroidered with roses.

They were accompanied by fellow actor Jeff Goldblum.

The previous installment, Wicked, was the most successful film of 2024 in the UK, and received 10 Oscar nominations, securing two for excellent wardrobe and production design.
